5. Today I will choose to be Happy - I am the possessor of a grateful spirit.
Happiness is a CHOICE! I know now that happiness is not an emotional phantom floating in and out of my life. Happiness
is the end result of certain thoughts and activities, which bring about a chemical reaction in my body. This reaction results in a euphoria that, while elusive to some, is totally under my control. I will greet each with laughter. Within moments of awakening, I will laugh for seven seconds. Excitement will begin to flow through my bloodstream. I feel different. I am different. I am Enthusiastic about the day! Laughter is an outward expression of enthusiasm, and I know enthusiasm is the fuel that moves the world. I have laughter in my heart. Today, I choose to be happy. I will smile at every person I meet. My smile is my calling card and is the most potent weapon I possess. My smile is my key to my emotional make up. When I choose to smile, I become the master of my emotions. Discouragement, despair, frustration, and fear will always wither when confronted by my smile. The power of who I am is displayed when I smile. I am the possessor of a grateful spirit! In the past, I have found discouragement in particular situations UNTIL I compared the condition of my life to others less fortunate. It is impossible for the seeds of depression to take root in a thankful heart. I am grateful for sight, sound and breathe. If ever in my life there is a pouring out of blessings beyond that, then I will be grateful for miracle of abundance.
I will greet each day with Laughter!
I will Smile at every person I meet!
I am the possessor of a grateful spirit!
Today I Will Choose To Be Happy!

You Get What You Settle For
You always get what you settle for. Did you know that? It's true. Maxwell Maltz wrote a book called "Psycho cybernetics" in which he referred to the mind as a "goal-seeking mechanism". It's like a heat-seeking missile. It will "hone in" on whatever goal you give it. And provided you're using the right principles, it will ALWAYS deliver to you what you want. In fact, you're already doing it. Think about it. Everything that you've ever TRULY wanted and decided that you would NOT do without.....you got. You want a new iPod and you get it. You want a new job and you get it. You want a new refrigerator and you get it. And what most people don't understand that it's a system. And it will work with ANYTHING, large or small. It's not the "wanting" that does it (although that's part of it). It's the fact that you are putting yourself in a mindset that says, "I will NO LONGER SETTLE for not having this in my life." And when you do that...magic happens. And it's the same thing with wealth. You get what you settle for. Do you want to know what you're settling for? Simple: look around and see what results you're getting. That's what you're settling for. And, as soon as you commit to settling for something different...your "goal-seeking mechanism" will go into action to make that your NEW reality. If you settle for luxury, you get luxury. If you settle for prosperity, you get prosperity. If you settle for abundance, you get abundance. So....what are you settling for today?

Think Like an Entrepreneur
Sixty percent of all Americans are dreaming about starting their own businesses. Why? What's their motivation? I recently heard some fascinating answers to that question while I was listening to recorded transcripts from The Entrepreneur's Success Codes, a Trump University course that's taught by Jeff Burrows. In those transcripts, a group of Trump University students - all successful entrepreneurs - answered Jeff's question, "Why did you decide to become an entrepreneur?" Let's take a closer look at the reasons they gave:
Motivation #1: An unstoppable passion for the work itself. It could be making real estate investments, restoring old cars or designing computer systems for businesses. As one student in The Entrepreneur's Success Codes class said, "I loved my work so much, I couldn't not do it."
Motivation #2: A drive to help others. It might be a desire to help other people be healthier, or more successful, or richer, or more beautiful. One student said that her longing to help people started after she recovered from a serious accident.
Motivation #3: The need for freedom. One class member said that after working in rigid corporations for years, the desire to control his own work took over his life.
Motivation #4: A hunger for challenge. For some entrepreneurs, the greatest motivator is the challenge of starting a business itself. Other concerns are secondary.
Motivation #5: Security. One entrepreneur said he started his own company because he hated working for companies where he could get laid off at any time. Of course, starting a company is risky. New companies fail. But despite those risks, running his own company put him in control of his own destiny."

What's Your Budget?
This is the beginning of a new year and another chance to organize our lives.
One thing that I've learned is that every year I get better and better at managing my money$$$.
Having a budget is having a plan. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Having a plan keeps you out of trouble. For more information click here

Attract It!!
It's incredible how your subconscious works. There was a time in my fiance's life when he smoked on a daily basis for many years. It's the craziest thing that when he quit smoking his subconscious mind played a big part in it. There would be days that he had smoking on his mind and his subconscious mind made sure that his cravings came true and he did whatever was needed to make sure he smoked. He soon understood that he was doing this and reversed his thought process and he made sure that he thought of himself as a nonsmoker. He hasn't smoked since.
Simply put "The Law of Attraction" states that you create your own life. A life by design. I find this to be an incredible bit of information. To think that I don't have to live a regular life. I can actually form and create my life by just changing the way I look at life. By changing my thoughts I have the CHOICE to do whatever I decide is good for my life.
I do a lot of thinking throughout the day. I'm sure we all do the same. So I'm deciding to think of good things. Think of my future as being an entity which I decide the outcome. I'm deciding to fill my life and thoughts with the utmost positive energy. I will watch my words and how I choose to express myself. "The Law of Attraction" is always working diligently to bring you all that you desire. Just make sure that what you desire is straightforward and not mixed up with negative thoughts. If we're going to spend so much time thinking, let's choose to think positively.
Attached is a great movie on the subject. I do not sell, distribute or handle anything that has to do with this movie. I just think that everyone can benefit from it. The Secret
